Memorecks formed in San Francisco around 2010, with Daniel Memorex on vocals and guitar, Jesse Taylor on guitar, and Matt McNaughton on drums. Their first EP was called 'The Amnesia Diaries.' They put out a second album in 2015 titled 'The Lazarus Effect,' which included the song 'Bruce Wayne' featuring Jenna Pemkowski.
Several of their tracks feature Jenna Pemkowski's vocals, including 'King Killa,' 'Medusa,' and 'Waterfalls.' In 2017, there were some plagiarism questions about a song called 'The Shadow,' but those didn't stick. The band released a single called 'Phoenix Rising' around that time.
