Mexicano 777

Mexicano 777 formed in Tijuana in 1997, led by MC Pato Machete. They released their debut album 'El Sonido de la Calle' in 2000, working as an independent hip-hop group when the genre was still finding its footing in Mexico.

Their 2003 track 'Los Tiempos Cambiaron' became an anthem for Mexican youth, expressing frustrations with societal inequalities. That song's popularity brought them wider attention and established them as an influential voice in Mexican hip-hop.

They've released albums like 'Homies y Carnales' in 2006, 'Vamos a Bailar' in 2009, and 'El Nuevo Imperio' in 2014. Their music incorporates elements from hip-hop to traditional Mexican cumbia, and they've worked with artists including Cypress Hill, Snoop Dogg, and Calle 13.

The group has seen lineup changes over time, with current members including MC Pato Machete, DJ Aztek 732, and Rocco Pachukote. They've faced controversies including allegations of drug use and arrests.
