Meyre Kal

Meyre Kal formed in 2015 as a duo, with Meyre handling vocals and Kal on multiple instruments. They started putting out music that mixed pop, rock, and electronic elements, though early on they faced some skepticism from listeners used to more straightforward pop. Their first album, 'Aurora,' came out in 2017, followed by 'Épica' in 2019 and 'Infinito' in 2021.

Their song 'Acessa Por Você' caught on and helped them reach a wider audience. Other tracks like 'Ame Alguém' and 'Encontro Marcado' show their range, from more atmospheric pop to rock-leaning arrangements. They've kept at it, releasing music every couple of years without settling into one predictable sound.

In 2018, they apologized after a social media post drew criticism. Since then, they've continued making music, with 'Infinito' leaning into more upbeat, anthemic territory compared to their earlier work.
