They followed that with albums like 'Essência' in 2008, 'Cantos e Encantos' in 2012, and 'Despertar' in 2017. Another track, 'Um Minuto,' also became one of their better-known songs.
Their music mixed Afro-Brazilian rhythms with more contemporary sounds, which sometimes drew criticism from traditionalists.
