Michael Learns to Rock formed in Aarhus, Denmark in 1988 as a trio with Jascha Richter on vocals and piano, Mikkel Lentz on guitar, and Kåre Wanscher on bass. Their debut album came out in 1991, featuring the single 'The Actor.' They followed it with 'Colours' in 1993, which included 'Sleeping Child.'
Through the 1990s they put out songs like '25 Minutes,' 'Paint My Love,' and 'Someday.' Their catalog also includes tracks such as 'I Won't Forget The Way You're Kissing' and 'Betrayal.'
In 1998 they had a lawsuit with their former record label that slowed their output for a while. They kept recording afterward, releasing albums like 'Blue Night' in 1999 and 'Take Me to Your Heart' in 2001, and have continued putting out music into the 2020s.
