They released several albums through the 1980s and 1990s, including 'Forró de Pé de Serra' and 'Baião da Terra'. Some listeners felt they were updating traditional sounds too much, while others appreciated how they kept the music alive. They kept performing together for decades.
Miguel Bezerra died in 2012. João de Oliveira has continued to perform their material, including 'No Alpendre da Casa que Morei'.
