Miguel Castilhos was a Brazilian folk musician from the Paraná River region. He played guitar and sang, performing at local gatherings and festivals. In the early 1980s, he formed a trio with Celso Campos and Francisco Koller called Nos Paranás do Paraná.
Their song 'Nos Paranás do Paraná' became an anthem for the region, celebrating its natural beauty and cultural heritage. The trio released several albums including 'Nos Paranás do Paraná' in 1983, 'Rio Abaixo' in 1985, 'Festa do Pequi' in 1987, and 'Terra de Compadre' in 1990.
Castilhos played guitar and sang vocals in the trio, with Campos on bass and vocals, and Koller on drums and percussion.
