Mikakunin de Shinkoukei is a Japanese pop band that formed in 2012. They've been fronted by vocalist Saki Fujita, with Yuuka Nanri on guitar, Shinobu Takayama on bass, and originally Akane Oshima on drums. In 2015, Oshima left the band for personal reasons, and they brought in a new drummer to continue.
Their song 'Tomadoi Recipe' drew some attention in 2016 when a lyric about a high school girl drinking alcohol led to accusations that it promoted underage drinking. The band responded that the song was meant to explore adolescent emotions rather than glorify drinking.
They released their self-titled debut album in 2013 and have put out singles like 'Tomadoi Recipe' and 'Masshiro World.' Some of their music has been used as theme songs for anime series including Nisekoi and Aikatsu!.
