Pondering a thousand traffic-choked mornings,

still blind to the graphic warning and the fat lip on his

pay cheque's sugar tit he soaks in his shrink's leather

reclining luxury with no peace of mind, just pieces to mind.

Could it be that the sub-reality is not just a pollution.

it's unnerving, am I controlling?

Could it be life's congenialities pose as an illusion?

Before you lose, first you must own.

Supposition becomes a new recognition,

dawn descends on his dull submissions,

his mind it reels, it starts, it breaks and wheels.

He shrugs and throws the straddling shadow away

This ignored cliché, his startling exposé.

It can't be that my possibilities are led by prostitution,

though denial is self-betrayal

Does this mean that shadows can't lean in the face of no delusion
