Mein Schäferhund der Edgar ist eigentlich ganz normal,
daß er früher ein bißchen fett war, das ist heut nicht mehr der Fall.
Er hat auch eine Freundin, hat die auch schon gehörnt,
nur leider ist er meistens tierisch angeturnt.
Ach, mein Hund, der ist so hinter Auspuffgasen her,
sieht der mal ein Auto, dann hält ihn keiner mehr.
Er legt sich vor den Auspuff, und fährt der Wagen an,
holt er noch tief Luft, und jubelt: Mensch, turnt das mich an.
Ein Pudel namens Paul ist jetzt sein neuer Freund,
ts mir auf den Wecker.
Gestern lag er grinsend vor 'nem Auspuff von 'nem Trecker,
und letzte Woche mittwochs, ich denk ich fall vom Sofa,
da kommt er doch nis Zimmer mit 'nem Auspuff von 'nem Mofa.
Ach, mein Hund, der ist...
Ich hab' mich schon gefreut, ich dacht' ich hätt' es überstanden.
Doch jetzt liegt er auf dem Flugplatz, wo die Flugzeuge landen.
Mit glänzenden Augen wartet er dort auf die Düsen,
und kommt eine vorbei, ja, dann haut's ihn von den Füßen.
