Their song 'Sou Louco Por Jesus' came out in 2005 and became widely known in Brazilian gospel circles. The band's lineup changed over time, with his brother Elias Cruz on drums and Alex Gonzaga on keyboards at various points.
They put out albums like 'Milagres' in 2007, 'Infinito' in 2011, and 'Tempo de Adorar' in 2015. Some of his lyrics addressed social and religious topics that drew criticism from parts of the Christian community. Outside of music, he ran a nonprofit called Projeto Vida that worked with drug rehabilitation and underprivileged communities.
