Their 1991 album 'Abra Seu Coração' became their breakthrough, with the title track turning into something of an anthem in Brazilian Christian circles. Other songs like 'Jesus Salvador' and 'Lovarei' also found an audience. The band kept recording through the 1990s, putting out albums like 'Nas Asas de um Anjo' in 1993 and 'Quero Ser Santo' in 1995.
Their rock approach drew criticism from some conservative religious groups who questioned their use of electric guitars and harder sounds. The band maintained they were just trying to reach people with a contemporary style. They continued releasing music into the 2000s with albums like 'Millennium' in 2000.
