Founded by vocalist and composer David Cerqueira and guitarist Marcus Salles, the band quickly gained a following for their raw and emotionally charged Christian rock. Their debut album, "Ministério Crê" (1996), established them as one of the leading lights in Brazilian gospel music.

Breakthrough and Controversy

The band's breakthrough came with the release of their second album, "A Cruz" (1998), which featured the title track that became an anthem for the Christian community.
