Ministério Frases is a Brazilian Christian rock band that formed in the late 1980s. The founding members included Dinho on vocals, Val on guitar, and Moreno on bass. They released their debut album, "Marcado Pela Graça," in 1993.
The band's third album, "Ego," came out in 1998 and became a turning point for them. The title track from that album gained significant attention. They went on to release several more albums including "Conectados" in 2000, "Transformação" in 2003, and "Vencedor" in 2006.
In 2009, a song from their album "Entre a Cruz e a Espada" drew criticism from some religious leaders who felt it was critical of the Catholic Church. The band has released a total of 12 studio albums over their career.
