Ministério Juliano Cesar formed in the early 1990s, led by Juliano Cesar from São Cristóvão, Sergipe. Their debut album 'Clamor e Adoração' came out in 1993, with early members including Daniel Santos on keyboards, João Júnior on bass, and Aldair Rocha on drums.
In 2001, the album 'Único' included the song 'Eu Clamarei Teu Name,' which drew some criticism from parts of the Christian community for its intimate lyrics. The band kept recording through that period, putting out albums like 'Para Não Morrer' in 2004 and 'Paz' in 2010.
Later lineups added Saulo Cesar on guitar and Léo Félix on percussion alongside the original core members. Their music drew inspiration from Brazilian Christian artists like Asaph Borba and Adhemar de Campos.
