Editor's note

Morada's Brazilian worship music, from São Paulo to radio hits.

A São Paulo worship band whose 2017 song 'É Tudo Sobre Você' became a national hit in Brazil.

For their sound, start with 'É Tudo Sobre Você.' For their worship catalog, try 'Liberdade' or 'Só Tu És Santo.'

Morada's music became part of the soundtrack for contemporary Brazilian worship. Their 2017 track 'É Tudo Sobre Você' broke through to mainstream radio, which doesn't happen often for worship bands. Songs like 'Liberdade' and 'Quero Mais' show their straightforward, guitar-driven approach to congregational music.

They started in São Paulo in 2009 with three members, releasing their self-titled debut in 2011. By 2017's 'Tudo sobre Você' album, they'd expanded to a five-piece lineup and landed a radio hit. They kept recording through a 2015 plagiarism accusation that was settled legally.

Morada formed in São Paulo in 2009 with Pedro Alvarenga on vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Bucci on bass, and Diego Muller on drums. Their first album came out in 2011, simply called 'Morada.' They put out 'Aurora' in 2014 and 'Tudo sobre Você' in 2017, which included the track 'É Tudo Sobre Você.'

That song 'É Tudo Sobre Você' became a hit in Brazil. Other songs people know include 'Só Tu És Santo,' 'Pra Onde Eu Irei?,' and 'Uma Coisa.' The band's lineup changed over time, adding Lucas Rosa on guitar and Rafael Marinho on keyboards to the original three members.

In 2015, another singer accused Morada of copying a song. The band said they didn't and the matter was settled legally. They kept making music after that.
