They had a hard time getting noticed at first, but things turned around in 1998 with the album 'A Porta' and its single 'Esse Nome Tem Poder,' which caught on with listeners.
The band's lineup shifted over time, with Arcanjo staying as the frontman while others like Davi Sacer and Nívea Soares came and went. Sacer left in 2001, which caused some disruption, but they kept going. They put out records like 'Acústico' in 1999, 'Ao Vivo' in 2001, and 'Novo Tempo' in 2004, among others.
'Esse Nome Tem Poder' stayed their best-known song, a straightforward gospel track that connected with Brazilian church audiences.
