Ministério SoulLuz formed in São Paulo in 2004 around pastor and singer Geraldo Guimarães. They started as a group of musicians from the local church community, aiming to create music for worship.
Their 2008 song "Chamado e Escolhido" became particularly well-known in Brazilian gospel circles. Another track, "Filho Adorador," also gained attention among listeners.
