That album had a song called 'Chave do Apartamento' that caught on. It became a hit, which brought them more attention. They kept making records after that, like 'Tô Tentando' in 2009 and 'Olhos de Farol' in 2012, and their sound kept shifting, picking up bits of jazz and electronics along the way.
Miranda handles the vocals and lyrics, while João plays multiple instruments and helps shape the arrangements. They've always worked outside the usual industry channels, which has sometimes meant their music gets called too abstract or difficult. But they've kept at it, putting out another album called 'Luzia' in 2018.
