MIREI formed in 2018 around vocalist and songwriter Misaki. The band includes guitarist Jun, bassist Takeru, and drummer Kenta. Their debut album was called 'Lonely In Tokyo,' which shares its name with one of their songs.
Their music tends toward atmospheric and introspective sounds, with lyrics that often touch on feelings of isolation. Songs like 'Take Me Away' and 'Thought You Were Mine' show this mood. They've released other albums including 'Aurora' and 'Daydream.'
