Mis-Teeq

Mis-Teeq formed in London in 1999 with Alesha Dixon, Sabrina Washington, and Su-Elise Nash. Their 2001 single 'Scandalous' became their signature track, mixing R&B with garage beats and lyrics that drew attention for being more direct than what was typical for girl groups at the time. They followed it with songs like 'All I Want' and 'B Wit Me' that kept them on UK charts through the early 2000s.

They released three studio albums between 2001 and 2003, including 'Lickin' on Both Sides' and 'Eye Candy.' The group performed at events like the Brit Awards and toured regularly during their active years. In 2005, they announced they were splitting up to pursue solo projects.

After the split, Alesha Dixon built a career as a singer and television presenter. Sabrina Washington worked on solo music and later as a motivational speaker. Su-Elise Nash released independent material and wrote songs for other artists. Their music, particularly tracks like 'Scandalous,' still gets played on throwback playlists and UK garage compilations.
