if i had to die, i'd want to die in the summer time.

i would lay down in leaves

and i would think i'm drowning and slowly fading

i'd smile.

so if you could decide would you die in the evening time?

well, when you closed your eyes you could still see starlight

and that would be alright

this time.

we had the same last name, born on the very same day.

those things are hard to find and he's selling me on christ

and its hard to focus things in right, so much beauty in my life and that's alright.

amongst the dead and dying there is a breath and breathing,

there lies a chorus line, with every sentence harmonized.

well if i didn't dream i'd talk to sleep and dream reality.

i would sing the words i mean and the songs would be long. the notes would sound wrong.

well if i didn't sleep, where would thoughts end or be complete. the rhythm just repeats,

and i keep reaching for peace.

its not a question of faith cause god knows i've set that record straight:

so much beauty downed by strife and that's alright
