Mistério

Mistério formed in Rio de Janeiro in the late 1990s around singer Karina Buhr, guitarist Chico Neves, and drummer Beto Villares. They were later joined by bassist Pedro Sá and keyboardist Bruno Buarque. Their debut album was called '5W2H,' which included songs like 'A Diferença' and 'Agradável.'

Their music mixed samba, reggae, and rock, and their lyrics often touched on social issues like poverty and inequality. This approach drew some criticism at the time for being too political, but they kept at it. Other albums followed, including 'Roteiro para Actores Obscuros' and 'A Vida Não É Tão.'

Songs like 'Circunstâncias' and 'Conflitos Resultam Em Tragédias' became known for their thoughtful lyrics and eclectic sound. The band's work resonated with listeners who appreciated music that addressed real-world concerns without losing its musical appeal.
