Mizuiro formed in 2003 with Kazuya Takagi on vocals and guitar, Takumi Furukawa on bass, and Teppei Narui on drums. They released their self-titled album 'Mizuiro' in 2005, followed by 'Image' in 2007.
Their song 'Gomen ne...' came out in 2009 and became their most recognizable track. They put out two more albums, 'Uta' in 2011 and 'Hikari' in 2014.
In 2012, Takagi was involved in a public scandal that drew attention. The band continued working after that, though their catalog ends with the 2014 release.
