He released his debut album 'O Milagre' in 2000, and his 2002 album 'Meu Ato de Contrição' brought him wider attention in Brazilian gospel music. The title track from that album, along with songs like 'Acima de Tudo o Amor' and 'Amigo Eterno,' became familiar to listeners in that scene.
His band includes André Rodrigues on bass, Gabriel Felipe on drums, Marcelo Augusto on keyboards, and Rogério Santos on percussion. In 2005, he faced accusations of plagiarism, which he denied. He has continued to release albums, including 'Fé' that same year, 'Ressurreição' in 2007, and 'Graça' in 2020.
His music draws from pop, rock, and Brazilian rhythms. The songs are straightforward expressions of faith, without much ornamentation or theatrical delivery. They work within the conventions of contemporary Christian music in Brazil, offering familiar comfort rather than innovation.
