He formed the Moisés de Moraes Band in 1987, and their debut album 'Ele me da Vitória' came out in 1991. That title track became one of his most recognizable songs.
His music includes songs like 'Ele me Faz Vencedor' and 'Senhor Eis-me Aqui' alongside 'Ele me da Vitória.' In 2006, he was diagnosed with a rare eye condition that required multiple surgeries and threatened his ability to sing.
