Monique Bingham was born in Sacramento, California in 1974. She started singing in church and school choirs, and put out her first album, 'Thicker Than Water,' in 1999. Her second album, 'Time,' came out in 2003 and had the song 'Deep In The Bottom' on it.
That song, 'Deep In The Bottom,' is what most people know her for. It's a ballad that got some attention on R&B charts. She's released a few more albums since then, like 'Monique' in 2006 and 'The Other Side' in 2012.
She's talked publicly about having bipolar disorder. She's also worked with other artists, including Snoop Dogg and Nas. Her live band has included keyboardist Anthony Bell and bassist Robin Brown.
