A pop group that rode the mid-2000s TV talent wave into European charts before disbanding.
For the early sound, 'Shame' still has that punch. Later, 'Like A Lady' from the 'Ladylike' album shows where they were heading.
They were one of those groups that felt like a product of their moment, the 2006 Popstars season, the debut single 'Shame' hitting right away, the follow-ups like 'Oh La La' keeping them on radio. Their three albums captured that glossy, danceable Euro-pop sound that defined a certain stretch of the late 2000s. Even after the lineup change and eventual split, songs like '2 Of A Kind' and 'Why Not Us' still pop up in playlists from that era.
They formed right after Popstars in 2006 with Mandy Capristo, Senna Guemmour, and Bahar Kızıl. They released three albums, 'Temptation', 'Strictly Physical', 'Ladylike', before Guemmour left in 2009 and was replaced by Patricia Kelly. The group called it quits in 2011, with the members moving into solo music, acting, and writing.
