Their self-titled debut album came out the following year and included the hit 'Sagitario,' which helped establish them as a popular pop group in the country.
Their sound mixed pop, rock, and Latin rhythms, with Scarcella's vocals and Agostini's keyboard work becoming recognizable parts of their music. They released several albums including 'Eclipse de Luna' in 1995 and 'La Otra Cara' in 1997.
Internal conflicts and lineup changes affected the band, and Agostini left in 2001. Scarcella and Moura reunited to reform Monte Carlo in 2008, but legal disputes over music rights contributed to the group's dissolution by 2013. Songs like 'Sagitario' and 'Tal Vez' remain familiar to many Argentine listeners.
