Monte Montgomery came out of Los Angeles in the late 1990s. The band's lineup included Monte Montgomery on vocals and guitar, drummer Marty Caswell, bassist Joe Ramirez, and keyboardist Kelvin Holly. Their debut album 'Girl Like You' arrived in 2000, and its title track became a hit.
After keyboardist Kelvin Holly left in 2004, Gary Scott joined. The band kept putting out records, including 'Monte Montgomery 2' in 2002 and 'Say You Love Me' in 2005. Later albums like 'The Other Side' and 'Loved & Lost' followed. Songs like 'I Know You By Heart' and 'Leavin' Paradise' are part of their catalog.
