Moral 23

Moral 23 formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s, when Leonardo Silva and Luis Lacerda started writing songs together. They were childhood friends who shared an interest in grunge and alternative rock. Their first album, '23', came out in 2004, and they put it out themselves after labels passed on it.

In 2006, the single 'Eu Não Entendo' connected with a lot of people in Brazil. The song's straightforward lyrics about confusion and modern life seemed to speak directly to young listeners. It became their most recognizable track.

The band's lineup included Silva on vocals, Lacerda on guitar, André Carvalhal on bass, and Thiago Duarte on drums. Their lyrics often dealt with social and political topics, which sometimes led to public debate alongside the music.
