Morandi

Morandi is a Romanian duo made up of vocalist Andrei Ropcea and producer Marius Moga. They first gained attention in 2004 with the single 'Beijo (Uh la la)', which became a summer hit across Europe.

Their first album, 'Reverse', came out in 2005, followed by 'Repeat' in 2006. These records mixed dance and pop with some ethnic touches, and included tracks like 'Save Me' and 'Angels'.

In 2006, there were some accusations that one of their songs borrowed too much from a Serbian tune, but they kept working. They've done some collaborations, including with Sandra and Haiducii.

Their music still gets played in clubs and on the radio in Romania, mostly that early 2000s dance-pop sound they helped popularize.
