Morbid formed in Umeå, Sweden in 1987. Their early lineup included Per "Dead" Ohlin on vocals, Ulf "Uffe" Cederlund on guitar, Lars-Göran Petrov on drums, and Johan "Juck" Johansson on bass. Their debut album "December Moon" came out in 1990 with cover art that got attention for its disfigured face.
Dead died by suicide in 1991. The band kept going after that, releasing albums like "Wolverine Dawn" in 1995 and "Destructhor" in 1998. Their songs include "Disgusting Semla," "My Dark Subconscious," and "Wings of Funeral."
