Mosh #77

Mosh #77 came out of Valparaíso, Chile, with a punk sound that felt raw and direct. Their song "De Bicicleta Até O Chile" from 1991 became something people held onto, especially in Latin America where it seemed to speak to a particular kind of frustration. The band was Nicolás Escalante on vocals, Mauricio Garcés on guitar, Gabriel López on bass, and Cristian Donoso on drums.

They put out records through the 90s and early 2000s, like Pies al Suelo in 1993 and Niño Candela in 2000. Their lyrics often pointed at social and political issues, which didn't always sit well with authorities. That tension was just part of what they did, and it's why their music, especially that early track, connected with people who felt pushed to the edges.
