Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born in 1756 and showed musical talent early. He wrote operas like The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, symphonies including No. 40 in G Minor, and chamber works such as String Quartet No. 19 in C Major.
His Requiem Mass in D Minor contains the Lacrimosa movement, which appears alongside other sections like Confutatis and Lux aeterna in his catalog. These pieces are often grouped with his Ave Verum Corpus as examples of his choral writing.
Mozart worked with librettist Emmanuel Schikaneder on The Magic Flute and maintained a connection with composer Joseph Haydn. His wife Constanze Mozart was part of his personal circle during his career.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
