Mundy is Edmund Enright from County Offaly in Ireland. He grew up in a musical household and started writing songs early, with traditional Irish folk and artists like Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen among his influences.
His debut album 'Jellylegs' came out in 2002 and included the single 'To You I Bestow,' which reached number one on the Irish charts. The 2005 album '24 Star Hotel' had '10,000 Miles Away From Harm,' a song that topped charts in Ireland and elsewhere. He also collaborated with The Corrs on 'When the Stars Go Blue.'
Mundy has released six studio albums and two live albums. He performs solo but often works with a band that has included Conor McCreanor on guitar, Joe Doyle on bass, and David Prendiville on drums. Other songs in his catalog include 'Adiós Norea,' 'All The Love's Been Made,' and 'Birdseed & Trash.'
