Archive material and source history
Muscadine Bloodline is a country duo from Mobile, Alabama, made up of Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster. They started playing local bars and honky-tonks around town before officially forming in 2011. That year they put out their first EP, 'The Ballad of the Dreadful Pirate Roberts.'
They've released a handful of albums since then, including 'Low Country Sounds,' 'Brawley,' and 'Burn Down This Town.'
In 2020, Stanton was arrested on a marijuana possession charge, which got some media coverage. The duo later addressed some personal struggles in their music, like on the track 'Porch Swing.' They keep writing and recording, with a 2022 compilation called 'The Greatest Hits: Part One.'
