In the early 2000s, creative differences led to members leaving, including Chubb Rock and DJ Premier. Billy Danze and Killah Priest kept recording as M.V.P., putting out albums like 'The Re-Education of B.D.' in 2007 and 'The Offering' in 2011. Their songs include 'Losing Sight' and 'Roc Ya Body 'Mic Check 1,2'.

They faced a lawsuit in 2006 over alleged unauthorized use of J Dilla's beats on their album 'Money Shot,' which was settled. The group continued releasing music into the 2010s with albums like 'Gunpowder Guru' and 'Bloodshed & Rhyme.'
