Do I walk to breath the air?

To do the work, to hold the heart of man?

Where have our convictions gone?

We let them slip out our hands,

As we've slipped out our spines.

He left his will behind long ago,

She thinks it's easier to go on her own.

He never learned to listen, though he heard it all.

They never learned to speak up, their following.

How can I hold you up, when I am sinking myself?

Now as you stand in the midst of the battle,

You'll understand your not fighting at all.

You've canonized a calling to the world and all it's strings.
