MyChronicles formed in 2005 with Fernando Sousa on vocals and guitar, Pedro Afonso on guitar and vocals, Nuno Reis on bass, and Mário Costa on drums. Their first album, 'Entre o Sono e o Sonho,' came out in 2007. They followed it with 'Manifesto' in 2009 and 'Noites (In)Comuns' in 2012.
Songs like 'A Chuva' and 'Fracasso' show their mix of indie rock, folk, and Portuguese Fado. In 2011, they faced plagiarism accusations after a festival performance, but kept working. Their 2014 release 'Sob o Mesmo Céu' came after that period.
