MySelf 7

MySelf 7 formed in 2006 around vocalist and guitarist Marcelo Mira, with bassist Juliano Matos, drummer Ariel Caracciolo, and guitarist Ricardo Loureiro. They put out their first album, 'Despertar,' in 2008. The band's sound often dealt with darker, introspective themes, which came through clearly on songs like 'Abismo Entre Nós' and 'Epidemia.'

Their second album, also called 'Abismo Entre Nós,' arrived in 2011. The title track became their most recognized song, a stark piece about heartbreak that connected with listeners but also drew some criticism for its bleak tone. The lineup shifted after that, with Loureiro and Caracciolo leaving by 2013.

Mira and Matos kept the project going with new musicians. They released more albums, including 'Entre Sombras e Luz' in 2015, 'O Fim do Inverno' in 2018, and 'Flashback' in 2020. Other songs in their catalog, like 'Fico a Te Procurar' and 'Não Me Faz Bem,' continued in a similar vein of emotional, guitar-driven rock.
