The Dutch band 'n Beetje Liefde Voor Allemaal formed in 2004 around singer-songwriter Maarten van der Vleuten from Utrecht, with multi-instrumentalist Jan van der Meij and drummer Marco Roelofsen. They worked in a folk-pop style with straightforward lyrics about everyday feelings.
Their song "In de zomer ruizen alle bomen" became their most recognizable track. In 2007, they faced plagiarism accusations over another single called "In de zon," though these were eventually dismissed. The band released albums like "Een beetje liefde voor iedereen" in 2006 and "De liefde is niet dood" in 2008.
Over time, other musicians like bassist Pieter van der Ploeg and keyboardist Marieke van der Linde played with the group. They also collaborated with some other Dutch artists including Bløf and Racoon.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
