A trio from the late '90s that mixes samba and soul with a contemporary feel.
For a good sense of their vibe, try "Será Pra Sempre Minha" or "Eu Posso Te Fazer Feliz", they're classic examples of that smooth, upbeat samba-soul mix.
They've been a steady presence in Brazilian music since their self-titled debut in 1999, with songs like "Será Pra Sempre Minha" becoming popular there. Their sound pulls from samba and soul traditions but stays modern, and they've kept going through lineup changes, marking two decades with the 2018 album "Na Kadencia 20 Anos". It's a reliable, groove-focused project that's lasted.
Na Kadencia formed in the late 1990s with Wilson Simoninha, Max de Castro, and Lan Lanh. Max de Castro left in 2006 for solo work, but Simoninha and Lan Lanh continued, releasing "Na Kadencia 5" that year and later "Na Kadencia 20 Anos" in 2018.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
