Ná Ozzetti e Zé Miguel Wisnik

Ná Ozzetti and Zé Miguel Wisnik began working together in the mid-1980s. Their first album, simply called 'Ná,' came out in 1985 and included the song 'Gardênias e Hortências,' which became one of their best-known pieces. Ozzetti's voice and Wisnik's guitar and songwriting created a space for quiet, thoughtful music that drew from Brazilian traditions without being bound by them.

They kept making records through the 1990s and 2000s, like 'A Cidade' in 1988 and 'Subir Mais' in 1996. The title track from that later album, 'Subir Mais,' is another of their enduring songs, alongside others like 'Miragem' and 'Sim, Sei Bem.' Their work often felt more like chamber music than pop, built around the interplay of voice and acoustic guitar.

Their discography shows a steady, patient output rather than a rush of activity. After 'Subir Mais,' they released 'Rio' in 2000, 'O Mundo Está Velho' in 2004, and 'Nação' in 2016. The music stayed focused on the duo's core sound, Ozzetti's clear vocals meeting Wisnik's intricate compositions, without chasing trends or dramatic reinventions.
