Na Pisada formed in Goiânia, Brazil in 2012, with Rafael Almeida on vocals, Vinicius Costa on guitar, Fabiano Rodrigues on bass, and Johnys Rodrigues on drums. They started playing local bars and festivals, working out their sound before things took off.
In 2014, their song "Arreia Cerveja" caught on and became a viral hit across Brazil. That track, along with others like "Chupa que é de Uva" and "Forró Na Pisada," helped establish them as a popular act in the sertanejo and samba-influenced scene. They released albums including "Na Pisada" in 2015 and "Multiplica" in 2016.
There were some bumps along the way, like plagiarism accusations in 2018 that were eventually resolved, and bassist Fabiano Rodrigues leaving the group in 2020. But they kept putting out music, with singles like "Não Me Deixe" and "Te Peguei" appearing in the years that followed.
