Na Rede formed in Caxias do Sul, Brazil in 1999 with Rodrigo Tavares, Cristiano Quevedo, and Felipe Zancanaro. They put out their first album in 2005, just called 'Na Rede.'

Their second album came out in 2009, titled 'Astronauta da Areia.' The title track became their most recognizable song. The band's lineup also included Marcelo Martins on drums.

They released three more albums after that: 'Manual de Sobrevivência' in 2012, 'Sete Luas' in 2015, and 'Revoada' in 2019.
