Me gusta la libertad y en eso, como en ninguna otra cosa, me reconozco pueblo. Han pasado seis años y hoy, hoy somos lo que queríamos ser en aquel luminoso diecisiete de Octubre. Aquel día, aquel día derrotamos a la oligarquía pero hoy, hoy yo le tengo más miedo al espíritu oligarca que está dentro de nosotros que al que vencimos en aquel diecisiete. Todavía hay mucho por hacer. Todavía hay mucho dolor que mitigar. Todavía hay muchos que sufren. Yo quiero hablar hoy, yo quiero hablar hoy a pesar que el General y los médicos me piden que sea breve porque quiero que mi pueblo sepa, porque quiero que mi pueblo sepa que el enemigo acecha y no perdona jamás. Mi gloria es y será siempre ser el escudo de Perón y la bandera de mi pueblo. Descamisados míos, yo quisiera decirles muchas cosas. Yo no sé, yo no sé como pagar el cariño que me tienen. Espero volver pronto a la lucha pero si no volviera, no lo olviden: Ustedes son los puros! Todo es ustedes! Ustedes son la Patria!
