Nacleys Djivas formed in Bogotá, Colombia in the early 2000s as a quartet. The band included vocalist Nacleys, guitarist and producer Darío Rozo, bassist Samir Correa, and drummer Daniel Zapata. They released their debut album 'Cosmos' in 2008.
That album's lead single 'Nave Espacial' featured Mister Bel and became their most recognizable track. The song's music video showed the band floating in space, which matched the cosmic themes in their work.
After 'Cosmos,' they put out several more albums including 'Estallidos' in 2010, 'El Viaje' in 2013, and 'Origen' in 2018. Their sound mixed Colombian rhythms with electronic elements and rock, though some listeners found their approach too experimental.
