Naldo Miranda grew up in the Madureira neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, where he heard samba, funk, and pagode around him. He started singing at local gatherings, taking cues from artists like Jorge Aragão and Zeca Pagodinho.
His debut album 'Naldo Na Veia' came out in 2006 and included the song 'A Falta Que Você Me Faz,' which became a hit in Brazil. He followed it with several more albums in the 'Na Veia' series through the 2010s, including 'Na Veia 2' in 2008 and 'Na Veia 4' in 2013.
In 2017, he was arrested after an incident involving a journalist. He later expressed regret about what happened. Other songs he recorded include 'Antiga Paisagem,' 'Assim Não Dá,' and 'Celacanto.'
