Naluz formed in 2000 as a quartet from Brazil with João Alexandre on lead vocals and guitar, Guilherme Schwab on bass, Luciano Nunes on drums, and André Abrão on guitar. They released their first album "Tempo de Criar" in 2002, followed by "Luz" in 2004 and "Entre o Silêncio e o Som" in 2007.
Their 2010 album "Caminho" brought them wider attention, with the title track becoming one of their better-known songs. They've continued releasing music since then, including "Flor Serena" in 2013, "Luzia" in 2016, and "O Caminho do Sol" in 2020. Their drummer Luciano Nunes died in 2013 after dealing with cancer.
Some of their songs like "Menina do Cabelo de Sol" and "Quando Você Olha" show their mix of pop and rock with Brazilian rhythms. They've been playing together for over twenty years now.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
